The GMC Acadia interior offers seating for 6 or 7 people, with the variation being dependent on the seating configuration. In this SUV, buyers are able to select a solid second seat, thus offering seating for 7 adults. However, they may also opt for second row captain’s seats, lowering the seating capacity to 6.

 
Cargo capacity is important in the SUV market as we begin to accumulate more stuff as we get older, and the Acadia offers plenty. Behind the third row of seats there is 12.8 ft3 and behind the second row there is 41.70 ft3. This means, if you don’t have the passengers to fill the backseat, you’ll be able to pack that extra suitcase for your road trip or even bring the big cooler. Should you require even more room, by collapsing the second row of seats you’ll have an astonishing 79.00 ft3.

      2019 Acadia Towing Capability

      In a vehicle that measures just over 16 feet long, you’re going to expect it to have some power behind it, and the Acadia doesn’t disappoint. With a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that gets up to 193 hp, this SUV offers enough power to pass the slow car in front of you, safely and effectively. However, the engine is also efficient enough to get an impressive EPA estimated 21 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.
       
      Even with the entry level of the 2019 GMC Acadia, you’ll have enough towing capacity to pull a small trailer. Equipped as the SL with FWD, you’ll have a thousand pounds of towing to play around with. However, at the highest level—the Denali AWD—you can expect up to a 4,000-pound capacity. Your towing ability will depend on your engine and drivetrain configuration.
