GMC Yukon Engine Specs
With enough space to seat eight adults, you’re probably hoping for some serious power packed under the hood of this SUV. With the Yukon, you’re sure to get it. It comes with a standard 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine that’s capable of getting up to 355 horsepower and towing up to 8,500 pounds.
With the entry level of the GMC Yukon, you’ll have the choice between 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive, which will slightly adjust what to expect in terms of fuel economy and conventional trailering. Safety Features
With a car full of your closest friends or your family, you’ll need the assurance of their safety to comfortably drive the Yukon. You’ll have seven standard airbags, front and rear park assist, and a standard rear vision camera, all part of the included equipment on the GMC Yukon.
However, on the entry level, you’ll also have some features that are available to drivers as part of a package, including a full suite of driver assist technology. With the addition of Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Departure Warning, you’ll be able to add to the feeling of safety achieved as you’re transporting your most precious cargo.
Cargo Space and Seating Capacity
With a seating capacity for up to eight people, you guessed it, you’re going to have a third row. This is great if you’ve got a big family or if you’re the chosen vehicle for your multiple couple date night, but it also means you have options for your cargo space.
Behind the third row, you’ll have 15.30 cubic feet of additional space, which amounts to enough for four large suitcases. However, you’ll have the option to collapse the third row and have a total of 51.70 cubic feet of storage room. If that still isn’t enough room, you can also drop the second row for a total of 94.70 cubic feet.
