Service Technician Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accept service orders from advisors, communicate details, and deliver vehicles to the service area.
- Complete routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, wheel alignment, tire rotation, air filter replacement, multi-point inspections, check engine light diagnosis, battery inspection/testing and replacement, fluid exchanges, and more.
- Review the reported performance deficits/symptoms, inspect the involved primary system and components to identify the problem, formulate accurate repair
- Maintain positive relations with colleagues for a healthy organizational culture and with customers for customer service excellence.
- Perform quality assurance checks and vehicle drive tests to verify service results meet specifications.
