2018 Buick Encore Specs

The 2018 Buick Encore comes standard with a 1.4L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 138 horsepower and is EPA-estimated to achieve a fuel efficiency rating of 25 city/33 highway MPG. On higher trim levels, you can opt up to a stronger 1.4L engine that reaches 153 horsepower and is equipped with fuel-saving start-stop technology. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

    Buick Encore Interior

    The Encore seats five on standard cloth upholstery. The driver’s seat is 6-way power adjustable. You’ll get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a unique storage compartment beneath the front passenger seat. Active Noise Cancellation technology uses the car’s speakers to emit noise-cancelling soundwaves that help to combat road noise. QuietTuning™ technology helps to eliminate vibrations in the cabin, so you’ll get a serenely quiet and smooth ride. 

    With all seats in use, the Encore has 18.8 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk. With the rear seats folded forward, you’ll have access to a total of 48.4 cubic feet of cargo capacity. In the front seat, there’s 39.58 inches of headroom and 40.82 inches of legroom. Back seat passengers will have 38.78 inches of headroom and 35.75 inches of legroom, so they can stretch out comfortably.

      Modern Technology Features

      Inside the cabin of the Encore trim levels, you’ll find an 8-inch touchscreen display to control the IntelliLink infotainment system. You can fully integrate your smartphone with the system using Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for access to your music, contacts, and even some of your favorite apps right on your car’s screen. 

      Other standard features include Bluetooth® connectivity, satellite radio for access to tons of channels of music and entertainment, USB ports to keep your devices charged, and a Wi-Fi® Hotspot so you can stay connected from anywhere.

      You’ll also get an OnStar® guidance plan, which includes safety and security features such as stolen vehicle assistance, roadside assistance, and automatic crash response. For added safety, you’ll get a standard rearview camera.
