About Gregg Young
Gregg Young, owner and President of Gregg Young Chevrolet of Norwalk, started his journey in the automotive business back in 1989 selling used cars at a Chevrolet dealership.
By 1996, Gregg had risen through the ranks to become General Sales Manager of a Chevrolet dealership. In 2000, Young purchased a Chevy dealership on the west side of Omaha and Gregg Young Chevrolet was born. Since that time, Gregg and his team’s commitment to great customer service and low prices have taken that store from last in the city to one of the top volume Chevrolet stores in the state of Nebraska and eastern Iowa.
With success of the Omaha location comes growth and another Young in the dealership. Gregg’s oldest son Alex, is now Managing Partner of Gregg Young Chevrolet Plattsmouth. This has led the Gregg Young Automotive Group to expand with the new Chevrolet stores in Norwalk and Plattsmouth.
Recently, Gregg Young was chosen as an automotive leader in Nebraska and nominated for a prestigious award given by Time magazine. Young was one of 50 car dealers nominated for the Time Dealer of the Year Award. It is one of the most prestigious honors a new-car dealer can receive and is awarded for demonstrations a long-standing commitment to community service.
Gregg and his employees support many local charities including the Mid-America Pinewood Derby for the Boy Scouts of America, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the Omaha Home for Boys. After the death of his father, Young started a golf tournament to raise money for the home called the Fair Deal Open.
