I made an appointment for an oil change and complementary tire rotation. When the work was completed, I was parking the car in front of my house, I heard a rattling sound. I checked the source of the rattle and noticed that 11 of the 20 Lugnut covers were missing and the remaining 9 were very loose. The service manager gave me the poor excuse that they 'wear out'. (Very strange that they would all wear out at the same time and while in your shop. I noticed that the corners of the 9 covers still on the car were rounded off. My guess is that the mechanic used the wrong fitting on the impact wrench (maybe a 20mm instead of a 3/4" or vice versa).

I went on line to make the appointment for my first oil change and tire rotation that was covered by the North Star dealership. 7:30 AM was the earliest appointment available, so I took it. I showed up at 7:20 and was told that a service manager would be with me shortly, and he was. As I chacked in he told me there was a software update for the vehicel that they would also complete. Great, have a seat in our waiting room the auto technicians start at 8 AM. What? Why have appointments for 7:30 AM? So I waited. It took 3 hours. I purchased a chevy from Nick Chevrolet and the first oil change, tire rotation and recall for a software update took 1 hour. I was not pleased with how long the service took at North Star.

I scheduled an 11:30 appointment on the web for 1) an oil change 2) Program a key fob. It took about 3 hours and 40 minutes to do. I had expected at most 45 minutes I saw the guy do the key fob, which took about 15 minutes, an oil change is maybe 15 to 20 minutes, give a little bit of time for paperwork, etc. I was very disappointed that they did not honor the scheduled appointment time.
