Confirmed Service Customer
We dropped off the Suburban for service the night before it was actually scheduled for service. Friday AM, we received a call at approximately 7:30 am stating that service had begun, and it was noted that the Suburban needed new spark plugs. We gave the go ahead to have those replaced and then did not hear anything back for several hours. My husband called around 11:30 am and left a message for someone to call with the status of the service. After approx 2 hrs, he called back and was able to get in touch with service advisor. She stated that they were finishing up on the car and it should be ready between 3:30 - 4 pm. As we were on the way to pick up the car, we received a call from the service advisor stating the car needed new tires and flushing service. Why was this not discussed earlier??? We said we would have this done at the next service and that we were on the way to get car. When we arrived at 3:50 pm, she stated it would be ready in about 30 min. I sat in waiting room for over an additional hour and a half before I asked how much longer. I did not leave until 5:30 pm. The entire reason we left the car the night before was to avoid this very thing from happening. Why were we called at 7:30 am about the service for the car not to be ready until 10 hrs later??? I would love to discuss this further with Blake the manager over Service once my review is received and investigated. We have never had problems with Master Chevrolet in Aiken until the last several visits.
