You can also use it to tow a trailer or a boat along. To learn more about this impressive full-size SUV's capabilities, read on.
A Glimpse at 2023 GMC Yukon Performance
This vehicle has a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V-8 base engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine (SLE or SLT) combined with 2WD and the Max Trailering Package enables this vehicle to tow up to 8,400 pounds. A 3.0-L Duramax® turbo-diesel engine is also available, making 277 horsepower.
Upper-level trims can come with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that can deliver up to 420 horsepower. These trims (AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate) also have a first-in-class four-corner air ride adaptive suspension available. To learn more about this vehicle's performance or towing potential, reach out to our team, who will go into all the details of the new GMC Yukon for sale.
Taking the Measure of GMC Yukon Dimensions
The traditional 2023 GMC Yukon is 210 inches long, 81 inches wide, and 77 inches tall. This gives you 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, which can increase to 122.9 cubic feet with some seats folded down. However, every trim of the new GMC Yukon for sale also comes with a "supersize" option.
These 2023 GMC Yukon XL versions extend the vehicle's length to 225 inches to give your passengers and belongings more space. The reimagined GMC Yukon dimensions make cargo capacity behind the third row go up to 41.5 cubic feet, with a maximum storage area of 144.7 cubic feet. Meanwhile, third-row seat passengers go from having 34.9 inches of legroom to 36.7 inches.
A Look Into GMC Yukon Interior
The amenities associated with your GMC Yukon interior will depend on what trim level you gravitate towards. As previously mentioned, the new GMC Yukon for sale comes in several trims: the SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. The lower-level trims actually offer the most seating if you choose to XL them. For example, you can seat up to nine people with the SLE XL, whereas a 2023 GMC Yukon Denali comes with second-row captains' chairs instead of a bench seat. This gives individual passengers more room and makes it easier to access the third row but lowers capacity.
The SLE and SLT new GMC Yukon for sale provide you with a 12-inch diagonal digital Driver Information Center, a 10.2-inch infotainment system, and tri-zone automatic climate control, as well as safety features like automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and rear parking assist. The SLT also has luxuries like first- and second-row leather perforated seating.
Moving on to an AT4 new GMC Yukon for sale, you'll discover Jet Black leather upholstery with Brandy accents and dark brushed aluminum details, plus heated and ventilated seats in the front row and a standard heated steering wheel. There are also available dual 12.6-inch diagonal rear-seat media touch screens.
A Yukon Denali can blast music from a 14-speaker Bose® sound system. Passengers will also love the 15-inch diagonal head-up display. Also available on both this trim and the next one is Super Cruise driver-assistance technology, which can facilitate hands-free driving in some circumstances.
Last but certainly not least is the Yukon Denali Ultimate, which offers benefits like an 18-speaker Bose® sound system, full-grain leather seats, a rear camera mirror, and a panoramic sunroof.
All these trims contain much more than what can be covered here, so check them out in person.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a GMC Yukon cost?
The GMC Yukon prices vary according to your choice of trim level. Both the SLE & SLT trims typically start at around the same price. The Yukon AT4 has a starting MSRP that is slightly higher. And, the luxurious and GMC-specific Denali version has the highest starting MSRP. If you are interested in other financing options, check out our GMC lease deals as well!
How long will my Yukon last?
This SUV will be with you and your family for the long haul. It's a solid, well-engineered machine made to take on any adventure. In fact, there are GMCs on the road that have been driven for more than 200,000 miles! Road trip, anyone? Plus, the Yukon comes with a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
Does the Yukon have captain's seats?
You bet it does! Your GMC Yukon can seat 7 or 8 passengers, depending on your preference. If you want to make it a little easier for passengers to get in the third row or use the extra center room for more gear, opt for the second-row captain's chairs instead of a bench! This gives you two completely separated chairs in your second row to go with your third row bench!
How do I set up the GMC Yukon Garage Door Opener?
Great question. Say goodbye to that ugly handheld transmitter that you can never find! You have three garage door buttons right above your windshield programmed into your car. The set up is an easy five steps.
- Step One: Make sure your Yukon is outside of your garage before beginning. And, of course, make sure people and pets aren't in your way.
- Step Two: Hold down the two outer buttons on your universal home remote system. Continue to hold until lights start to flash (this can take about 20 seconds). Let go once flashing.
- Step Three: Take your handheld garage transmitter and hold it one to three inches away from the home remote buttons, keep the flashing light in view.
- Step Four: Press both your handheld transmitter and one of the three universal remote system buttons at the same time. Continue to hold both buttons down. The flashing light should go from a slow flash to a more rapid flash. Once that happens, let go of both buttons after the light goes out.
- Step Five: Push the universal home remote button that you have chosen. Your garage should open! Also, note that the light should stay constantly lit on the button once a garage door has been paired successfully. Voila!
Remember to keep your original handheld transmitter handy for other vehicles or for if you have a pairing issue. If you have any questions, feel free to call us, and we can walk you through it ourselves.
