My 2021 Silverado went into limp mode around October 25th 2023. After 2 trips to the service department, it was determined that the turbo actuator had failed, and that parts were not available through general motors. Early December the parts arrived at the dealership and they attempted the repair to find out that the turbocharger had failed also. I was told that the parts were not available, but on back order. It was recommended to me to contact GM customer service. I have to say that this experience was the most pointless waste of time and resources. The representative spent most of their time defending a broken system, and attempted to direct blame towards the dealership. I quit answering her calls. I was put in contact with Ed Loyacona, the regional parts director for delaney chevrolet. Ed was extremely helpful and honest with me while himself navigating through obstacles to try to find answers about parts availability. The parts finally were delivered February 5th to the dealership, and I received my truck back on February 14th. I am very satisfied with the delaney chevrolet service department and their efforts to make the necessary repairs. I do think that General Motors on the corporate end has very serious problems in the structure of how different divisions communicate. I would blame the big boys at the top for this...my 2cents. Thanks
