What to Expect from the New 2024 Chevy Blazer Near PHOENIX, AZ
The Chevy Blazer is a mid-size crossover that has been on sale since 2019, but now it's getting an all-electric version. The only thing we know about this car is that it will go on sale in spring 2023. Also, the first version of the electric crossover will be a sporty SS model, but we still have very few details about it. GM hasn't released any other details yet, but more should be coming soon.
However, Chevy released an official image of the new Blazer EV SS, which looks pretty impressive. The new images show off a crossover that uses a distinctive design to distinguish itself from the petrol-powered Blazer. The vehicle has a somewhat aggressive design and stance, owing to its large wheels, short front and rear overhangs, and long wheelbase. It's the SS version, so it's presumably a higher-performance version than the lower trim levels.
Since the 2024 Chevy Blazer is Chevy’s first electric vehicle to carry the "SS" performance moniker, we do not know what additional horsepower the Blazer will have. Also, there is no word on how big the battery in the Blazer will be, but we know it will utilize GM's Ultium battery pack. Although the SS is expected to have the most powerful AWD system, the premier, RS, and LT are expected to have a less powerful single-motor system.
In July, Chevy is expected to reveal the Blazer EV's price, horsepower and torque ratings, and range estimates.
