The standard and most fuel-efficient options is a 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All other engines are mated to a 10-speed. If you prefer a V8, you have the option of the 5.3L EcoTec3, and with the higher trim levels, you have the option of the 6.2L EcoTec3. The diesel option is a 3.0L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine.
