The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse is available in the following seven trims: L, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country. The wide variety of trims are sure to satisfy basically any need. The 2019 Toyota Highlander only has six trim levels. The base L comes well-equipped with features that buyers desire to include LED running lights for improved visibility, a backup camera, super bright xenon headlights, 18-inch stylish wheels, an automatic engine stop-start system for improved efficiency, tilt steering wheel, OnStar with 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hotspot, smartphone integration for Apple and Android, Chevy's Teen Driver System, seating for eight and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The RS is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 257 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine lineups for the Highlander are not quite as powerful. The 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 295 hp and 263 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generates only 185 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. This is substantially less power than the four-cylinder engine for the Traverse.
