Marvin carefully went over all the new features of my car to ensure I knew how everything worked before taking delivery. He also called to follow up to make sure I was pleased with my purchase. I have been a customer for many years. I along with my children have bought many vehicles from them. All from Marvin Glass. Have had all my service work done by them also and have been buying my tires from them too. I can honestly say I have never had any problems. Marvin is great. The service team is fantastic. Anything I need done is taken care of fully and courteously. All of the personnel from management down is top notch and have your interest and satisfaction as their number one priority.

After nearly 20 yrs of driving minivans my wife and I were ready for a change! We decided to search for a used mid size SUV. While browsing the Internet a nice looking used Traverse popped up at Wantz Chevrolet in nearby Taneytown. We decided to slip over that evening and look into it further. We were met by Marvin Glass. He couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. After some consideration and brief light hearted negotiation we decided to purchase the Traverse. Due to some issues with outside financing we needed to wait a couple of weeks before we picked up the car and Wantz was very patient and understanding . Ultimately we picked up our Traverse and we absolutely love it! After a few days a couple of minor issues arose with the vehicle. Even though these issues were minor and outside of the normal used car warranty, Wantz was quick to take care of them immediately and at no charge. The service was fast and friendly. I am very pleased with my experience with Wantz so far!

Great place to buy your new vehicle! I have been a customer at Wantz for several years now, you really cannot ask for a better dealership. Researched 2014 Silverados for a couple months...couldn't find what I was looking for. In October 2014 found Wantz Chevrolet on the internet and decided one Sunday to take a ride. ( 60 miles from Annapolis).Low and behold they had the truck I was looking for. Went back the following day after work to discuss price. Was met by sales person Kelly Shuster. She showed me the truck and told me all about it's features. Kelly was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. From there it was to sales manager Stan Hollinger to talk money. I had a number in mind when I arrived and Stan and I were able to come to an agreement on price. I purchased the vehicle and picked it up the following evening. We bought our second vehicle last October from Jeff Wantz. My wife really enjoyed working with Jeff who took the time to show her how everything worked on her new Chevy Equinox. So when we were in the market to replace our truck we went back to see Jeff. He was very helpful in taking the time to show us the new Chevy 2500 and showed us all the features that it had on it. I was in the market for my 3rd Silverado, but this time I wanted an 2500 HD. With the cost being a substantial amount more than I had paid for my previous 2 Silverado, I was very particular about which color and options I wanted. Jeff listened to everything I wanted, and found several trucks for me. He even drove to another dealer to take a picture of the truck for me since I was reluctant to pull the trigger on something I hadn't even seen. After I decided that was the one, he expedited all of the processes from picking the truck up at the other location, to getting it state Inspected and cleaned up and ready to ride. Great Experience

The folks at Wantz Chevrolet are wonderful! We live in Western Pennsylvania and were getting the run-around from several dealers in our area when trying to buy a new truck. The truck we wanted was apparently not a commonly requested model so finding one proved to be extremely difficult. Finally a dealer in Ohio referred us to Wantz, and the long distance phone calls and e-mails began. In just a few days, we started on our 4 hour drive to purchase our new truck. Our salesman, Jeff Wantz, responded to many calls from both my husband and me, the sales manager Stan was pleasant and accommodating, and the finance manager did a great job, too. Much of the paperwork was done ahead of time, thanks to scanners and e-mails, so things went very smoothly once we arrived. And shortly after Lisa took our picture with our new truck (what a nice touch, by the way!), we were on our way back home. Once we finally located a dealership with the truck we wanted, I have to admit this was the most pleasant experience we've ever had in purchasing a new vehicle. Thanks to the entire Wantz team!

I am from Ocean City, MD went to a few lits and was getting run around not happy. Went to Wantz and test drove a few cars and liked but was looking for SUV. But a little out of price range. I purchased a 2014 Camaro SS from Wantz Chevy last month. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Wantz. The buying experience was excellent. The salesman, Jeff, did a very good job. Not pushy at all, presented the car very well. The financing specialist did a great job as well. Presented all my options, explained everything clearly. The owner even got involved in the process to personally take care of an issue and had it resolved in a timely manner to my satisfaction. I received a good overall deal on my new Camaro. The service department is great. I've had my Silverado maintained there for the past several years and plan on having my new car serviced there as well. It is definitely worth the few minutes it takes to drive to Taneytown to do business at Wantz. You don't have to deal with the 3 ring circus atmosphere of the large chain dealerships who could care less about you and your car as soon as you drive off their lot. Oh, and the Camaro is an awesome car!

A couple of months ago I began pondering how to replace the ol' beater GMC Safari AWD van that left me over the past summer. In this case, left me means I told my grandson he could have it to sell and use the funds during his college years (he's now about 3 semesters along).
I had been spoiled and hadn't had to use the AWD feature of the van in the two winters following the horrendous snow we had in early 2010. Even though my two pickups were only two-wheel drive, I figured I could find a more economical AWD vehicle to replace it and had my eye on a used Subaru Forester owned by an ex co-worker and his wife.
Earlier this month the Forester went off the market as my ex co-worker decided it made more sense to keep the Forester for themselves to use as a second vehicle for foul weather also. I spent a few days traversing the internet looking for other Foresters that might fit my budget. I found that used Foresters sell at prices not that much lower than new ones. Just one more thing to ponder.
Then it occurred to me that I don't really need 3 vehicles since I'm the only driver, and you guessed it, I can only drive one at a time. It also occurred to me that my Toy Truck was due for quite a bit of maintenance at the 50k mileage mark. Possibly I could trade the Toy Truck for a new Toy Truck with 4x4 drive system.
I decided I might find a better deal on a leftover 2012 than I could get right now on a 2013 model. Once again the internet provided the answer, a 2012 Chevy Silverado, regular cab, short bed, 4x4 at Wantz Chevrolet in Taneytown, MD. An ideal Toy Truck replacement that could also get me thru some snowy weather and keep me down to 2 vehicles.
Wantz Chevrolet's internet sales person returned my contact and we arranged for me to wander up to Taneytown last Friday to get a hands-on experience with the possible New Toy Truck. Bea Buckland was very gracious to spend time demonstrating the New Toy Truck while their appraiser guy worked the numbers for my ol' Toy Truck.
Stan the Money Man put the numbers together in a way that I could hardly resist and rather than go home empty handed, I signed the papers and scheduled delivery of the new Toy Truck for early Saturday morning.
The Saturday morning delivery was uneventful except for my farewell to the ol' Toy Truck. This image shows Bea Buckland and BToS JD standing by the New Toy Truck at delivery. Wantz Chevrolet is very kind to chronicle deliveries with the camera.

PS - I couldn't ask for a friendlier dealer than Wantz Chevrolet and I must say that I actually enjoyed spending time with Bea. Did she convince me to buy the New Toy Truck? I'd like to say that she did, but I'd already made up my mind to purchase given a fair price. However, Bea did make the experience much more enjoyable than I ever expected.
