Ross Roe continues to live on through the memories of his family, employees, and customers. He accomplished many things in his 91 years of life. He left a legacy that continues to this day about taking care of each other, hard work, and community service. Among his last words were: • Be good… remember, be good • Be nice to people • There are always people very much in need. • Tell our friends The best legacy that we can leave for Mr. Roe is to take care of each customer and our community.

Steve is the General Manager of Roe Motors. Over the past 45 years, Steve has worked in nearly every department of a dealership, including Roe Motors - a second generation, family owned business. Roe Motors has earned the 2016 Better Business Bureau Business of the Year for Oregon and SW Washington, the 2011 Cadillac Master Dealer award and the 2015 Family Business of the Year from OSU- Austin School of Business. Since earning the rank of Eagle Scout as a teenager, Steve has been personally committed to community organizing and contribution. Examples include work with the Chamber of Commerce, Asante Health System board, Rogue Gateway Rotary and Crater Lake Boy Scout Council. In 2016, Steve went through with a promise to shave his head when the Roe Motors team met its fundraising goal and raised $15,116 for the Grants Pass Relay for Life. In addition, Roe Motors raised over $4,000 in a 5-hour car wash to benefit the Blue Slide Project for a handicap accessible playground at Parkside School. Steve has an Automotive Marketing and Accounting degree from Northwood University and a Masters in Management degree from Southern Oregon University. He lives in Grants Pass with his wife Kristi (a 1st grade teacher at Allen Dale Elementary) and Bonnie, Molly and Abby, their therapy dogs. His two daughters are grown. Steve enjoys Diamond Lake, reading, computer technology and giving back to others.
