Brought my truck in for the $433 transmission fluid/filter change which is supposed to include the internal filter in the pan and why it is 3-4 times the price of an oil change. I inspected the next morning the external filter was changed but I could tell that the pan never got pulled because the dirt on the pan bolts was still there like a socket never got put on them. I asked multiple times if they did both filters before and after service and they said yes they did both filters. I looked at my receipt and it showed one filter being replaced which was the spin on external filter. I called and the service tech told me the $433 price includes the internal filter. So all of you Allison transmission owners beware that when you are trying to take good care of your truck GMC Billings is not but charging you as if they are. I’m taking another day off work now to see if they will admit their mistake. So on top of the $433 I lost pit on $1000 of wages. It’s not my first problem with this service department but will be my last.

Patrick checked me in as soon as I arrived. We discussed what I needed and any other issues. My service was completed within an hour or slightly less. Fast turnaround that let me get back on the road home.

It was just a basic oil change. The price to dispose of the old oil went to $20 with the free lifetime oil change. Never received a car wash either as we previously always received. Staff was pleasant.
