When it comes time to purchase a new vehicle, it’s easy to get caught up in the financing process. If you have a million questions running through your head, allow the finance experts at Master Buick GMC in Augusta to ease your mind. We have the answers you’re looking for!
What paperwork will I need to finance a vehicle?
You’ll need four pieces of paperwork when you want to finance your vehicle: your driver’s license, insurance card, proof of residence, and two months of paycheck stubs or two years of tax information.
How much will my payments be?
Unfortunately, we can’t guess what your exact payment will be. There are a few factors that go into influencing your payments, such as the payoff of your current vehicle, your credit score, the bank you use to finance and their interest rates, the monthly incentives, what private offers are out there, and how much you put down on your new vehicle.
How much will the down payment be?
Depending on your credit score, some banks may want you to invest a little bit more in the vehicle. Banks see this as an advantageous loan to a buyer who is willing to put their own money towards their vehicle. The more money you put toward the vehicle can affect the interest rate as well!
Can I get an appraisal of my trade over the phone?
You definitely can! You can also use our simple online form to value your trade-in. Although, there are a few questions you will have to answer, such as whether or not your vehicle has been in an accident, is the vehicle smoke free, are there any dings or dents, how many owners has the vehicle had, and the trim level of the vehicle. We’ll need to see some pictures of the inside, outside, and the odometer of the vehicle as well. If there are any discrepancies in the description of the vehicle once we see it, the appraisal could change.
What kind of documentation do I need if I am going to trade my vehicle in?
You’ll need to bring the payoff from your bank. If you own the vehicle outright, you’ll need to bring the title to the vehicle.
How do I get my tag transferred over to my new vehicle?
We can handle that for you for a small fee! You will need to keep the paper tag we give you until you receive the registration in the mail. This could take until the date of the expiration on the paper tag.
