    As far as the performance goes, the new Chevy Equinox models come with a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and delivers 170 horsepower. The Equinox is powered with front-wheel drive and gets an EPA-estimated 26 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.
