              New Car Sales Manager-

              "This is just to let you know how pleased we are with your staff and your facility.On March 27th, we purchased a new Acadia and our salesperson was Bob Pollard.Bob never put pressure on us to buy “now” or made us uncomfortable in any manner.He allowed us the freedom to look, and we looked at a lot of vehicles, both new and used of different models and colors.He let us drive whatever we wanted and wanted to be sure we were comfortable with our choices.Yes, it probably was a gamble on his part allowing us to leave after each visit without a commitment, but that too continued to draw us back to keep looking.In the beginning, I personally wasn’t sure about our choice or if that was the vehicle I wanted to purchase, but allowed us that freedom to think about our decision and in the end we did make the purchase of which we are both very happy with.Yes, we do know Bob from another activity, but still, Bob just went way above and beyond to make us comfortable and let us drive and decide on our own.We did not just purchase this because we knew Bob, we purchased it because we were allowed to decide this was a good choice in vehicle, a good price and the ability to feel comfortable with your facility."

              "From past experience, purchasing a vehicle has not always been a pleasant experience, with salesmen greeting you as you get out of your car and then 2nd level managers sitting in on the conversations to add more pressure to be sure that you purchase from them.Even if you inform them up front that we are only looking, the pressure is still put on you.We were both pleased that this was not the case here and from past experience with Donovan’s it wasn’t then either.We purchased a new truck from John Lambert and there was no hard sell there either."

                      “I was in an accident on a Tuesday afternoon and my Trailblazer was totaled. I loved my Trailblazer and was prepared to buy a Traverse so I went to a dealership and test drove one on a Friday evening. I would have purchased the car that night but the sales staff was too busy. I still could not get a return phone call from a salesperson the following Saturday. I received a prompt reply....ON A SUNDAY! The pricing I received sounded good so I arranged to meet with Bruce, the sales manager at Donovan, during my lunch hour the following day. Bruce also showed me the Acadia.                           "I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help and your referral to Shawn who in turn, introduced me to Bruce. I also wanted to share with you that I was treated with the greatest level of respect! It was very comforting talking to both Shawn and Bruce and not being treated like a "stupid female" trying to buy a car. I have experienced this at other dealerships and I don't feel my gender should play into the deal I make, but it does! I was greeted immediately upon walking in and shared what I wanted to be able to work out with Shawn. He spoke with Bruce and while coming up with numbers, Shawn explained in detail where they came up with the offer on my vehicle. There was no time wasted in playing the "numbers game" that so many other dealerships want to. I was not rushed off to an office where I had to meet 5 people while they applied pressure just to tell all of them "no, I am no doing it at this time". When the 3 of us were clearly far from a deal and I shared that this was something I wanted to do but didn't have to do they were very respectful and said "we totally understand, just let us know if there is anything else we can do for you." I will definitely be back to visit Donovan's at a time when I am closer to being able to trade in my current vehicle or have sold it on my own!
