2023 Cornhole Tournament at St. Charles County Fair
Thank you to all players that came out to the St. Charles County Fair for our Cornhole Tournament. We had a little mishap with weather but in the end it all turned out great! All of the proceeds from this tournament went to the American Society for Suicide Prevention.
2022 American Legion post 323 Car Show
Poage Chevrolet participated in the car show at the American Legion Post 323 last weekend. We had out 1998 Chevrolet Camaro in the show!
Salute to the Troops Corvette Show 2022
We had a great turnout to the Annual Salute to the Troops Corvette Show! 137 Corvettes showed up for the show this year. That is the most we have ever had. Thanks to everyone who came out. We look forward to seeing you here next year!
Poage Chevrolet X Sigma Nu Cornhole Tournament
Poage Chevrolet teamed up with Sigma Nu of SEMO to host our first annual Cornhole Tournament! We were not sure how it was going to go, being it was our first time hosting a tournament. But in the end, it all worked out. All of the proceeds went to the philanthropic efforts of Sigma Nu of SEMO. We look forward to the tournament next year!
2022 Rod Run
The Rod Run was a success again! All of the proceeds from the Rod Run every year go to the START program. The START program is the new, reinvented DARE program.
JSL Racing Sponsorship
For the past 2 year, Poage Chevrolet has been sponsoring JSL Racing. They are a local Motocross racing team. Sponsoring their team gives them the opportunity to race and service their vehicles. They recently began their season in the Mid America Motocross! god luck to JSL Racing!
Blue Line Family Clay Shooting Fundraiser
On May 1, 2022, the Wentzville Police Department held a clay shooting fundraiser for the Blue Line Family Inc. Through donations and sponsorships, we raised a total of $10,444! All of that money will go to the Wentzville Police Department Blue Line Family. It was a great day all around. Although it was a little chilly and windy at first but got much nicer as the day went on. This event was very much a success. Many people that attended were very curious about next year's event as well. Thank you to everyone that came out and supported this great cause. Hopefully we see you all at next year's event!
Parker Strong
We were very sad to hear about the passing of Parker. In support of Parker and his family, we had yellow balloons all around the dealership. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this tough time.
Fort Zumwalt Baseball Sponsorship
Every year, we like to sponsor a local baseball or softball team. This year we chose to sponsor the Fort Zumwalt South baseball program. For future sponsorship opportunities, please contact the dealer at 636-327-6268.
2022 Rod Run
The 2022 Rod Run will be June 3 and August 5. Both events go from 6-9:30pm. It costs $10 to cruise in the run. All of the proceeds go to the START program here in Wentzville MO.
St. Charles County Fair 2021
Every year, Poage Chevrolet is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the St. Charles County Fair. We have been a sponsor of this event for many years now and always enjoy when this part of the year comes around. It also is helpful that the fair is hosted right here in Wentzville MO. If you were at the fair this past, you probably saw a few of our trucks on display. We had a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LTZ Diesel and a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado RST.
Wentzville Rod Run June 2021
We had another very successful Rod Run last Friday night, June 4, 2021. We sold out of tickets again. There were so many crazy cars cruising the streets of Wentzville. Big thanks to Harris Auto and Tire for putting on this event again. We are happy we could be a sponsor of the event. Also a huge shoutout to the Wentzville Police Department for keeping everyone safe during the cruise.
On May 15th, Poage Chevrolet hosted the annual Salute to the Troops Corvette Show. We are so happy we were able to have the show this year. Last year we had to cancel it due to COVID so we were very thankful we were able to put on a great show this year. Around 100 Corvettes showed up. The weather wasn't the greatest but it held off long enough. We weren't sure with the iffy forecast if many Corvettes would show up but they came out in bunches. We look forward to the next Corvette show next year. Also, if you are looking for a Corvette, we always have a few in stock. Click here to view our Corvette inventory. We are also always looking to buy Corvettes. We will purchase yours from you if you are looking to sell. Click this link to get a ballpark number for your Corvette. For a more accurate valuation, please come in to Poage Chevrolet.
Jordan Hayes Charity Golf Tournament 2020
We are always looking for different ways to help out. This year we sponsored a hole in a charity golf tournament at Bogey Hills Country Club for the Jordan Hayes Foundation. This golf tournament is a great way to raise money and awareness for Muscular Disease. With the awareness and money raised, we hope a cure can one day be found for all muscular diseases.
First Responder Breakfast
With everything going on in the world, we decided to give back a little. The first responders, health care workers, and the essential workers need to be recognized for all that they do. We decided to host a breakfast event for all of those people. There was food and drinks for all of the attendees to enjoy. We had hotcakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, orange juice, and water. In the future, we plan to do another just like this one. We had a great turnout for this specific event and hopefully we will get even more people at the next one!
WENTZVILLE Days
WENTZVILLE is a proud city, intent on celebrating both our past and our future. Our passion for our community has created our city's newest event: WENTZVILLE Days Fair and Music Festival, which will be held May 20-22, 2016! The event was created using the Wabash Days structure, but keeping in mind the traditions this town has grown to love. From a small town of about 7, 250 in 2000, to a dynamic City of more than 33,000 today, WENTZVILLE has become a premier location for both business and tourism, all while retaining its hometown charm and friendliness.
WENTZVILLE Days has collaborated with the WENTZVILLE Blues and Classic Rock Festival to bring a three-day, family-friendly celebration to the streets of Downtown WENTZVILLE. New festival additions such as a barbecue contest, new bands and entertainment options, an exclusive children's area, and much more, will be incorporated into this much anticipated spring event!
WENTZVILLE Continues Fight Against Heroin with Awareness Walk May 14
WENTZVILLE Alderman Michael Rhoades announced at last night's board of aldermen meeting that 700 t-shirts have been reserved by participants who have registered for Saturday's Walk to STOP Heroin.
The event, Rhoades said, is a chance for concerned citizens to take a stand, show support, share resources, and celebrate success stories in the fight against a dangerous and growing heroin epidemic.
Rhoades idea for an awareness walk was embraced by the WENTZVILLE Board of Aldermen, Mayor Nick Guccione, and the WENTZVILLE Police Department. The police department is hosting the May 14 event, and city officials will welcome the participants and lead the walk, which will begin at Heartland Park and travel north and east on WENTZVILLE Parkway to the Law Enforcement Center.
The event is rain or shine, and everyone is welcome, strollers included. Participants are also encouraged to bring signs, pictures, or posters to show their support and encouragement. Some participants will be bringing balloons to release in memory of loved ones who have been lost due to heroin overdose.
Poage Chevrolet Goes to Bat for Wentzville-Holt School District
Poage Chevrolet is partnering with the WENTZVILLE-Holt School District in WENTZVILLE. Poage Chevrolet has joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment and invitations to FREE instructional clinics. Playing the game of baseball helps kids develop skills like leadership, cooperation and sportsmanship while bringing families and communities together to show their support. Poage Chevrolet and Chevrolet Youth Baseball are proud to participate in a sport that brings so many smiles to kids and families in WENTZVILLE, said Joel Hauk, General Manager for Poage Chevrolet. Chevrolet believes that in play, there are possibilities and supports the spirit of teamwork that baseball instills in its players. 2016 marks Chevrolet's Youth Baseball program's 11th year, and since its introduction has helped aid local teams, benefiting more than 5 million young people in communities where Chevrolet's customers live, work and play. In 2015, more than 1,400 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country.
Poage Chevrolet presented the WENTZVILLE-Holt School District with equipment that includes useful items such as bags, coolers, and batting equipment. The sponsorship also includes youth clinics featuring current and former MLB/MiLB players and coaches, and instructors from Ripken Baseball.
In addition to its commitment to youth baseball, Chevrolet also is the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball. Chevrolet vehicles are designed and built for families, safety and fun, so we encourage young people and their parents to make a Chevrolet the official vehicle of their household, said Hauk.

What is Greenlight a Vet?
America’s veterans are some of our nation’s bravest, hardest-working men and women. However, it’s hard to show them the appreciation they deserve when, back home and out of uniform, they’re more camouflaged than ever. Greenlight A Vet is a campaign to establish visible national support for our veterans by changing one light to green.
