HOW TO GET THE NEW CHEVROLET I WANT:
How do I get the new Chevrolet I want when it seems like there are none out there? We get this question a lot, so we wanted to break it down for our buyers! Chevrolet does not have a retail order system or incentive tied to ordering; however, we want to show you some ways around that! When you go to a Chevrolet dealer’s website it may (hypothetically) show 30 new cars in inventory. There is a larger selection that the dealer can offer, but there is not yet enough information to populate a listing on the website. Many dealers have placed orders for vehicles that are already built, but have no chip OR are built, but have not yet been assigned a VIN number. They also will have orders that are in the system, but not built yet. In all these instances, the inventory will not appear on their retail website because of lack of said information. In the case of Buster Miles Chevrolet, we have 152 orders in process with Chevrolet, in addition to the few you see online, that a customer can choose from. To ensure that our customers can see all that we have available, we have compiled a page that lists all our “in process” vehicles! You can scroll through, or feel free to work with one of our noncommissioned sales consultants to find the vehicle that has the options you’re wanting, then place a deposit on the existing order that meets your needs. Some Chevrolet dealers are pricing these vehicles high; however, we have opted to continue being aggressive on new Chevrolet pricing to earn additional allocation. The faster a dealer can turn his or her inventory, the more inventory they earn. We want to grow, as well as offer our customers amazing deals and therefore you will find that we are extremely aggressive on pricing.
If what you want is not available from the list a dealer can provide, then your next step is to talk to the dealer about ordering what you want specifically. Chevrolet doesn’t have a system where a dealer can key in an order directly tied to a customer, the dealer will just order what you want when the order banks open and set it aside for you specifically. They will make a note of what you want and order when they can, as opposed to a retail order system where you can key it in at any time. AND hopefully what you want doesn’t have a constraint in place to prevent ordering it.
