Principal of the Year
Bobby Wood and Scenic Chevrolet were happy to present the current Principal of the Year award winner-Seneca High School's current Principal Cliff Roberts, the use of a brand new vehicle of his choice to drive during his reign- expense free......he chose the 2015 Chevy Silverado in Victory Red but of course!!! To quote Mr. Wood “We just wanted to give something back to the community and the people that have been so good to us all these years, 38-years. If it had not been for those people, we would not have had the financial means to do it. We would like to thank our customers, employees and Mr. Roberts for being so great. I think this is a great thing to happen for Oconee County.” The presentation was attended by all students and staff, Mr. Roberts and Mrs. Roberts, Seneca City Officials, School District Officials, Mr. Wood (Owner of Scenic Chevrolet), Mr. Ronnie O'Kelley (Employee and Seneca City Councilman) Mr. Dave Stephans (Employee and proud Community Member,) and our GM Representative Ms. Katey Yates. Here are a few peeks of the assembly and a few links to articles about Mr. Rogers in other media...

Seneca Police Dept's Ava!
Meet Ava. This pretty girl would like to retire soon, but before she can do that the Seneca Police Dept. needs help offsetting the cost. We are happy to Donate from Scenic Chevrolet and Bobby Wood himself, and our Office Mgr Kelly and Sales Consultant Ronnie O'kelly personally donated to help Ava get to take off that badge and relax for all the works she's done. Sales and Service were able to purchase very attractive T-Shirts for $10 and the money goes straight to the fund. We are proud to meet this brave girl, and happy to help get her a replacement so she can retire. If you'd like to donate, all you have to do is contact the Seneca Police Dept or drop in (not with a 911 call, haha)

Scenic Chevrolet to provide Walhalla Recreation Department with new equipment, monetary contribution and instructional clinics
“Youth baseball provides positive and productive life lessons for young people across America, and the Chevrolet Youth Baseball program is an extension of Chevrolet’s commitment to baseball, community and families. Scenic Chevrolet is bringing that same dedication to youth baseball,” said Michael Smith, General Manager for Scenic Chevrolet. “There is nothing more American than Chevrolet and baseball and Scenic Chevrolet wants to combine America’s favorite brand and favorite pastime together for our families in West Union and Walhalla to enjoy,” added Smith.
2014 marks Chevrolet’s Youth Baseball program’s ninth year, and since its introduction has helped aid local teams, benefiting more than 3.5 million young people in communities where Chevrolet’s customers live, work and play. In 2013, more than 1,600 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country.
Scenic Chevrolet will present Walhalla Recreation Department with an equipment kit that includes useful items, such as bags, batting tees, catcher’s gear, water bottles and Chevrolet Youth Baseball T-shirts. The sponsorship also includes youth clinics featuring current and former MLB/MiLB players and coaches, and instructors from Ripken Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.
In addition, Scenic Chevrolet will present a check representing a one-time monetary contribution to Walhalla Recreation Department. Sponsored leagues across the country will have the chance to earn additional funds as community members take test drives at their partnering dealership to help support the league.
In addition to its commitment to youth baseball, Chevrolet also is the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball™.
“Chevrolet vehicles are designed and built for families, so we hope young people and their parents will consider a Chevrolet as an official vehicle of their household,” said Smith.

This was just some of the gifts we provided to 3 kids from every local school. We spent a total of $5,969 on the children in total-and the equivalent of one total work week in time spent shopping! We loved shopping for and wrapping these gifts for these special kids! Office Manager Kelly Collins, Tag and Title Specialist April Barry, and myself (Carolina McGraw) are pictured. We are thankful for Scenic Chevrolet, and it's employees, Bobby and Diane Wood and Chevrolet to make this happen!
