    Thanks to a mixture of turbocharging and variable valve timing, the Equinox powertrain can produce 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. And with a 6-speed automatic transmission thrown into this mix, it can maintain 32 MPG highway.1

    Still, that included power will come in handy when it comes time to haul cargo. The Equinox can also tow as much as 1,500 pounds, so if you have some extra gear to take on your next road trip, you shouldn’t have to worry about getting it there.
