Chevy Equinox Trim Levels
The 2018 Equinox offers four different trim levels: L, LS, LT, and Premier. These trims all come standard with the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, but offer a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel or a 2.0-liter turbo that puts out 252 horsepower.
These trims also offer several different options in terms of standard features. Let’s take a look in more detail.
L: You might be surprised that the base trim of the Equinox offers so many standard features, but it certainly does! The Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system comes standard via a 7-inch color touchscreen display, along with Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™ to keep your connectivity options varied.
LS: As the second trim in the lineup, the
Chevy Equinox LS shares the same standard features as the L. It also comes standard with OnStar® Guidance Plan Limited Trial Service, so you can have some extra help if you ever find yourself in a jam on the road.
LT: The LT trim offers all three engine options, so you’ll have your choice of power. It also offers an available power lift gate to help you load up the grocery bags, along with available driver assistance features, such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Premier: The
Equinox FWD Premier trim also offers all three engine options, and the driver assistance features we mentioned in the LT come standard in the Premier. Heated front seats also come standard, along with an available 8-inch touchscreen display. This style also comes in an
AWD Premier level.
