Larry and Gary did a good job with my service appointment. Gary called me in the am to say no loaner cars had returned so that was a problem for me as I wanted to do errands while my car was repaired. Then Gary called back saying a loaner had been returned and it would be saved for me. It takes me a while to get to Livingston but when I arrived, the loaner was there Larry processed me but said it would be a 2 hour wait time instead of 1 hour because of a back up in the shop that day. On previous times that situation of back up in the shop has happened - an 1 hour repair usually takes 2 or more hours so a loaner makes the best sense. But loaners are hard to get. My repair was fine, thanks and just in the 2 hour span.
I brought our Traverse in for new tires and general maintenance. Staff was courteous and professional. They have a nice waiting area with desks and WiFi where I worked while they changed the tires and oil. Overall, it was a good experience.
My experience at Schumacher Chevrolet Livingston was very good. Jarret had helped me set up the loaner vehicle, and contacted me later in the day to discuss the necessary repairs for my car. I had brought my car in to figure out why the check engine light was on. They had told me it was two faulty sensors that needed to be replaced. After having the sensors replaced, and a few other services performed, I picked up my vehicle later that evening. My car was running much better, and the check engine light had gone off. Unfortunately, two days later the light had come back on again, so I will need to bring the car back in once more. But overall, I am pleased with the service I had received, and the friendly staff at Schumacher Chevrolet. I am confident they will help me resolve this issue.
My salesman Harold was awesome. He was very helpful through the whole process and was quick to address any questions or concerns I had. I would recommend this place to anyone. I love the car and overall my experience couldn’t have been any better. 100% satisfied customer.
