In June 2009, both Todd Wenzel Chevrolet and Todd Wenzel Buick GMC were selected as preferred dealers to represent the New GM. Also, in June 2009, came the announcement of the loss of Pontiac. Wenzel prepared to move on without Pontiac while still being West Michigan's home for the Buick and GMC line. "We are excited for GM's future and the future of Todd Wenzel Buick GMC," said Wenzel. "We look forward to providing continued world class service to all our customers and the West Michigan community."
Wenzel renewed his commitment to West Michigan in 2010 when he remodeled both dealerships. Today, customers enjoy comfortable, modern facilities designed to enhance the time they spend at the dealership. Service lounges feature free Internet access, touch-screen computers, and refreshments. Playrooms for children are equipped with a non-DVD playing Wii, and coloring books. The Buick GMC store even has a staff Concierge, dedicated to ensuring the comfort of its service customers.
“Our concierge at the 28th Street location ensures our customers are comfortable and well-taken care of,” Wenzel says. “We want the entire automotive experience to be hassle-free and enjoyable.”
In April 2014, Wenzel purchased his third Michigan dealership, Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Davison, from previous owner Jim Waldron. The dealership is set to undergo a 1.5 to 2 million dollar renovation this year to conform to the new GM look.
"When I moved back to West Michigan in 2001, I knew one thing was certain—I would have the top ranking GM dealership in this community by keeping my customers at the forefront. I am fortunate to have nearly 300 hard-working and dedicated employees, and serve over 90,000 customers, and will work every day to maintain leadership in the industry by putting our customers' needs first," said Wenzel.
