Confirmed Service Customer
Me and my family were driving through Riverside on our way back home to Phoenix. I started having engine problems in my 2021 GMC Yukon. Luckily I was about 5 min from the dealership row you guys are on. I naturally went to Dutton GMC to their service dept and they could not help me. I told them my situation and they said their engine guys are weeks behind and will not be able to work on it. He directed me to try your service department. Dutton service advisor didn’t even offer to plug it in to see what codes are popping up. So I was pretty discouraged and really in between a rock and a hard place. I had my wife, 2 girls and our dog in my car while I’m trying to see if someone can help. Although I was discouraged GMC Dutton couldn’t help I am thanking God he pointed me to Riverside Chevy and your service dept. I showed up on a Wednesday afternoon with no appointment and just walked in and your advisors were some of the most helpful people I have met in my life. You have some complete rock stars when it comes to customer service. I mainly interacted with Albert and Craig but there was also a mechanic that was there when I got there and I remember every one of them tell me, “ Don’t worry we will take care of you.” And when you are stuck like I was stuck that day, I tell you hearing that just made me feel soo much relief. I can not say enough about Albert Ceballos. I will never forget that man. Not only did he go above and beyond helping me out but the biggest thing I remember is the empathy. I could tell they were not just tying to get my care fixed but they sincerely wanted to help a person out. You rarely see that in customer service these days. Albert and Craig both displayed great empathy for me and my situation. I remember after getting my car checked in Alberts next concern was me and my family. He asked, “okay, what can I do to help you and your family out.” I asked if he could assist in getting me a rental car so we could drive back to my family we were staying with in Cali. He promptly called Enterprise and had someone pick me up so I can get a rental. Long story short got a rental, moved all our luggage from my Yukon over to the rental and we stayed with family till the Yukon was fixed. Another thing I was amazed at was the communication that Albert had and how he managed to get my Yukon fixed. He and the shop had it diagnosed the next morning, overnighted parts and had it fixed faster than most shops do routine maintenance and I was back on the road Friday afternoon. Having engine problems on vacation hundred of miles away from home is a horrible feeling but I thank god I was close to your dealership and the service Albert, Craig and the shop gave me. I literally get watery eyed thinking about how above and beyond your service department went for me. They could of easily brushed me off and told me they couldn’t help me but they didn’t. They saw someone that needed help and they all helped out. That means those individual CARE. They are not just there to collect a check and get people in and out and go home at 5. They literally CARE for people and that is sooo hard to find these days. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone in your service dept and all the mechanics in the shop. You guys work soo hard and people do not understand how hard it is and how hard you all work. But you guys saved me on one of my worse days of my life and completely flipped it into being one of the best customer service experiences ever. I am soo happy with Riverside Chevrolet you have no idea. Not sure if Chevy has some sort of customer service award, merit award or some way to acknowledge them but if there is on Albert Ceballos, Craig and the service dept at Riverside deserve it 1000 percent.
