What makes the Chevrolet Traverse special? - Everything!
DESIGN
The Traverse, built on a brand new platform with a bold design, is sharper, more distinctive and very practical – including its newly enlarged rear tailgate.
From the ground up, the Chevrolet Traverse is designed for adventure, but also for making the daily grind more enjoyable. You will not need to compromise on interior space within the Traverse; its lower profile only serves to provide more efficiency.
INTERIOR
Just like the previous Traverse, there are still three rows of seating accessible by four large doors. This time, the doors are longer for better access to all of the rear seats. The second-row on the passenger side slides easily to help third-row occupants to their seats.
There is seating for up to eight people. Each seat offers plenty of comfort for everyone across all three rows. There is up to 98.5 cubic feet of cargo space available to help make life easier, even when moving across town.
Not to mention, there is a multitude of storage areas located underneath the rear cargo area and behind the MyLink touchscreen.
The leading indicators are in plain sight while you're driving, along with a widened and more informative Driver’s Information Center enables customization for any other readouts needed while cruising in your Traverse.
SAFETY
As expected from previous Traverse models, it is designed to be safe. That is why the Chevrolet Traverse offers a long list of safety features designed for optimal vehicle and occupant protection.
These features include; Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and a rearview camera with rear cross-traffic alert, Surround Vision, Rear Park assist. Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Following Distance Indicator and new D-Optic LED headlamps. The Teen Driver feature is standard on all Traverse models.
TECHNOLOGY
The touch screen, located in the middle of your dashboard, houses MyLink, which serves as a hub for entertaining everyone on board.
Speaking of entertaining, you can easily sync apps from your smartphone to your Traverse for more accessibility, and Bluetooth connectivity and SiriusXM satellite radio are also available to keep the rhythm of your party on wheels flowing smoothly. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility add more options for amusement and information.
Not to mention, that all of your passengers can stay happily connected through OnStar 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hotspot.
Plus, every Traverse comes with the peace of mind of OnStar. Available 24 hours a day, OnStar is there to assist in case of an accident or theft of the Traverse, along with providing directions to your next destination.
Also, you will never have to worry about your Traverse when parking it down the street or while traveling. The Remotelink app allows you to remain in control of your Traverse even from far away.
PERFORMANCE
The Chevrolet Traverse offers two compelling choices for power. Most models get the 3.6-liter V6 engine, but with 310 horsepower on tap, it provides you with better fuel economy – up to an estimated 27 MPG on the highway.
The V6 engine is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for maximum traction. AWD models include a Traction Mode Select system enabling a more specific set of control on any given surface.
RS models with front-wheel drive get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 257 horsepower on tap. Can you say giddy-up?
If you love towing my friend, then the Chevrolet Traverse is a friend of yours too. It will tow up to 5,000 pounds, making you, unstoppable.
VALUE
There are six well-equipped Traverse models to choose from – the value-oriented LS, the popularly-equipped LT, the sporty RS, the luxurious Premier, and the ultimate Traverse - the High Country.
Pricing for the Traverse starts at $31,125.
