New for the 2023 Chevy Equinox is the 1.5-liter turbo I4, which generates 175 horsepower and 203 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 RPM. This engine takes the same six-speed automatic transmission from 2022. Also new for the year is the Midnight Edition package, which features Jet Black interior upholstery and black for the badging, trim, and wheels.
