Chevy Debuts the New 2020 Chevy Silverado HD
Chevrolet recently debuted the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD, an all-new lineup of the strongest Silverado HD trucks to date. The Silverado HD's max towing capacity jumps 52 percent to an absolutely bonkers 35,500 pounds. So, if you ever thought the Silverado HD couldn't quite handle your heavy lifting, then think again. This latest iteration of Chevy's heavy-duty truck lineup packs a wallop and offers a robust list of tech features to help you tackle your most intense work with ease.
What's Different?
The 2020 Silverado HD is a bit bigger than its predecessor all around. It's a touch taller, longer, and wider, so you can expect more room. The new Silverado HD will also come in five trim levels including Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country to suit a variety of needs. Altogether, the Silverado HD offers 22 chassis, driveline, cab, and bed configurations for further customization.
Other 2020 Silverado HD Highlights
As the term "all-new" might imply, there's a lot of exciting new things about the latest version of Chevy's unrelentingly powerful heavy-duty truck. Here are a few of the top highlights:
Exclusive HD design: The Silverado HD has always looked a lot like its smaller stablemate, the Silverado 1500, but the 2020 Silverado HD has a new look that is wholly its own (save for some family resemblance in the roof sheetmetal).
New engine: The 2020 Silverado HD offers a powerful new 6.6L V8 gas engine with direct injection that supplies better performance and improved towing capability.
Advanced trailering technology: Up to fifteen camera views are available on the 2020 Silverado HD which make way for a variety of towing-assist technologies to help you gain more confidence when you tow heavy loads around the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, NJ areas.
