Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT

Being the entry-level model for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 lineup, this is the ideal truck for you if you’re on a budget or don’t require as much towing capacity. While the 1500 WT is the base model, it is anything but ordinary. Its powertrain includes either a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine (310 hp / 430 lb-ft of torque) that can haul up to 9,500 lbs. If more power is required, you can always opt for the 5.3-liter 8-cylinder (355 hp / 383 lb-ft of torque) which increases the towing capacity to 11,500 pounds.

    Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom & Custom Trail Boss 

    For those wanting to go deeper into the backwoods, there’s the Silverado 1500 Custom and Custom Trail Boss. Both are outstanding off-road capable pickups that – of course – have the Silverado 1500’s legendary reputation for fantastic maneuverability, astounding performance, and high power. The Custom trim introduces the 2.7-liter L3B TurboMax™ 4-cylinder engine with its 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.

    The Custom and Custom Trail Boss are no slouches when it comes to heavy hauling as the L3B TurboMax™ engine allows both to tow up to 9,500 lbs. The main difference between the two trims is the off-road specialized Z71 package that comes standard on the Custom Trail Boss. This package comes with a two-inch suspension lift and numerous additional trailering and off-road features.

      Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT

      The LT should be considered the next in line to the 1500 WT. Sporting the same powertrain and towing, this is the right truck for you if you want a larger 13.4-inch digital entertainment and navigation system. The Silverado 1500 LT also comes with 20-inch aluminum wheels and LED reflector headlamps.

        Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST

        The RST trim is the best truck for those wanting a larger 12.3-inch driver information center to go along with their 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen – or for those wanting to take advantage of the RST’s high-gloss 20-inch black wheels. Whether it’s wanting to get noticed or wanting to take advantage of the diagonal touchscreen, this trim won’t disappoint.

          Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss & LTZ

          Another great choice for off-road enthusiasts is the LT Trail Boss trim. The core difference between this trim versus the other two off-road variants is that the LT Trail Boss comes with Chevrolet’s Autotrac® transfer case and automatic locking rear differential – an addition that significantly reduces the risk of losing traction on those backcountry roads.

          The LTZ trim is the perfect option for those wanting leather seating throughout the interior cabin. It also includes an eight-camera system that provides a 360-degree, birds-eye view. While not as off-road capable as the LT Trail Boss, the LTZ more than holds its own on rugged terrain.

            Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 & High Country

            For those wanting to take their off-roading to a whole other level, there’s the ZR2 trim with its Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers, rear e-lockers and massive 33-inch Wrangler Territory MT® Tires.

            Finally, there’s the High Country. This is the perfect truck for you if you want the very best that the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has to offer. Including all the best features of the previous trims, the High Country comes with a premium leather interior, power retractable steps, an upgraded 14-view camera system, and Super Cruise™ as a standard feature.
