Iconic Halloween Movie Cars
Vehicles have changed the entire world and influenced everything from our homes to the economy. Yet, there's no getting away from the fact that vehicles are incredibly influential pieces of equipment, and the writers in Hollywood have, over the years, found it to be an intriguing way to sneak in a gimmick for mass appeal.
What follows is a brief list of notable vehicles that have become as popular as those movies they are featured in.
Christine:
There are not many examples of a vehicle being featured as the lead role in a movie and also its title character, Christine is one such instance. The movie features Arnie, who had a passion for Christine, an old 1958 Plymouth Fury. Much to his dismay, Christine was a possessed car who would not spare anyone who comes between her and her owner. Interestingly, the vehicle could drive on its own without anyone in the driver's seat!
Ecto-1:
The Ecto-1 has nearly become as popular as the movie it is featured in. Fanatic fans of Ghostbusters love the hearse-like design, yet even those who haven't seen the movie yet will crack a smile when they see this vehicle roll by.
Death Proof:
It is a thriller where the main character uses the vehicle as a weapon chosen by him. It's likewise an incredible lesson to know how important it is to wear your seatbelts while driving. The vehicle was structured to be a death-proof for the driver. That's the 'ironic' part of the movie.
Maximum Overdrive:
When some electronic devices take over humanity, vehicles become the most perilous item ever constructed. In this movie, a group of survivors need to take cover in a truck stop while enormous apparatuses forebodingly circle the building waiting for an opportunity to slaughter them. That is until their gas runs out.
Monster Man:
Monster Man is a low-budget movie produced by Lionsgate, yet you must give credit to the group that built the destructive monster truck, which was the movie's main character. That vehicle looks as inauspicious as it's acting, and it's safe to say that it is the biggest executioner vehicle made for movies to that point.
Black Cadillac:
Scott Robertson, a Yale student, generally admired by all, and his friend, C.J. Longhammer, travel over the outskirts of Wisconsin for a wild night every year. After some unforeseen problems at a bar, a Black Cadillac follows them, which causes them to take an unsafe drive onto a frozen lake to shake it. The Cadillac continues to follow. Watch the movie to see how this one ends!
Stay Safe!
While the movies listed above are entertaining, it is important to remember to drive safely every time you take the wheel. Remember, your life is not a movie, there are no reshoots.
