GMC Sierra capability
If you need a little more power and space in the bed, consider the GMC Sierra 1500. This truck is also available in the AT4 and AT4X trims in addition to six other trim options. The 2024 Sierra 1500 can be equipped with one of four engines, each offering varying amounts of power. Take, for example, the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 that gets 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque or the 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo Diesel that maxes out torque at 495 lb-ft and gets 305 horsepower.
Much like the smaller Canyon, previous versions of the GMC Sierra have provided drivers with plenty of capability over the years. But even if you want to go beyond what the Sierra 1500 offers, you can also consider the GMC Sierra 2500 HD or the GMC Sierra 3500 HD. These heavy-duty options are work-ready with features like available best-in-class Crew Cab max towing and an available 6.6-liter Duramax® Turbo Diesel V8 that gets 470 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 975 lb-ft of torque.
