A Quick Look at the 2024 Lineup of Chevy Trucks
When you’re in the market for a new truck, you should check out the lineup for the 2024 model year. The newest model year brings refreshed styles and upgraded features. You don’t want to miss out on the newest Chevy trucks.
Silverado HD
The Silverado HD comes in the 2500 and 3500 variations. This line of trucks has been thoroughly updated with the 2024 model year. This truck model is heavy-duty, hence the name, and built for heavy hauling and towing. These trucks are large and commanding. With the new style for the 2024 model, the front end is even more imposing front end with a new grille that boasts a giant Chevy bowtie logo. The headlamps are flashier than ever before. The cabin center-stack switchgear has been upgraded with more buttons. The latest version has updated technology that includes adaptive cruise control and a transparent trailer. If you have gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers, the technology works with them, too. It even includes blind-spot monitoring completely optimized for towing.
Silverado 1500
The 1500 has a makeover in 2022, so the 2024 version doesn’t get a large overhaul. Instead, it has many smaller updates. This version has two new paint options in metallic colors. They are Slate Gray and Lakeshore Blue. It’s fully equipped with a 420 horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engine with an active exhaust. There is an optional upgrade to a 2.2.7-liter turbo-four. It’s nicknamed the TurboMax. The 1500 has sport mode, giving the truck a more aggressive sound. It has a towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, making it a fully capable hauler. Safety upgrades include a standard rear seat belt indicator and a safety package that includes front and rear parking sensors.
Silverado EV
The Chevrolet Silverado EV is an electric version of the classic pickup truck. It has a midgate design that allows users to fold down the portion between the bed and the cab for additional storage space. This is a great choice when you need extra room for gear. This electric pickup truck is capable and powerful with dual electric motors. It has an all-wheel drive standard and as much as 664 horsepower. It also has optional four-wheel steering and adaptive air suspension.
Colorado
If you want a midsize pickup truck, consider The Colorado. However, drivers won’t see many upgrades for the 2024 model year. It was, however, developed while in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles. As a result, it features AEV fender flares, a rear bumper, a winch-friendly heavy-duty front bumper, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch mud tires. The Colorado has a Bison trim level, which has a ZR2 high-output 310 horsepower and a 430 lb-ft 2.7-liter turbo-four powertrain. It also includes four-wheel drive and front and rear locking differentials. This truck also comes equipped with a racing-inspired spare tire carrier and spray-on bedliner.
