The New Chevrolet Colorado
Chevrolet Introduces First Hardtop Corvette Convertible
The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible is the first hardtop and mid-engine convertible in Corvette history. It maintains the tunnel-dominant structure and use of high-integrity die-cast parts found in the Stingray coupe. It also carries on the coupe's front storage compartment.
The Hardtop
The hardtop convertible provides a quieter cabin, increased security, and a cleaner look compared to previous designs for softtops. The Stingray convertible's design was inspired by fighter jets. The tonneau cover features aerodynamically-shaped nacelles, influenced by the housing used for jet engines. The nacelles help to reduce air recirculation into the cabin, providing an exotic profile with the top either up or down. The tonneau also provides a rear power-adjustable window and a vent for mi...

2020 Chevrolet Corvette's C8 eBoost Brakes
The long-awaited 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has many firsts, one of them being electronically adjustable brakes. Chevy calls this new brake system "eBoost brakes," meaning brake-by-wire. Not sure what that means? The driver can adjust the brake pedal feel depending on the mode they choose to put it in to better suit both the driver and the road conditions.
This technology can be compared to throttle-by-wire, which mostly every new car today has. The driver presses on the brake pedal, which sends a signal to a computer. The "force" is transferred to all the brakes using traditional brake fluid.
By using this technology, Chevy eliminates the conventional vacuum-based power brake system, providing an advantage in efficiency. The eBoost unit combines the master cylinder, vacuum booster, vacuum pu...

2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV Offers Greater Range
Beginning with model year 2020, the Bolt EV will offer an EPA-estimated 259 miles of range on a full charge. This range will vary based on temperature, terrain, battery age, and how you use and maintain your vehicle. This is a 21-mile increase over previous model years. The Chevrolet Bolt EV"s long-range and affordability attracts customers continuously, and the 2020 Bolt EV is even more attractive, allowing further travel between charging sessions.
In order to allow for increased range of travel, Chevrolet's battery engineering team improved the energy of the cell electrodes by making adjustments to the cell chemistry. Chevrolet Says Safety First
Safety is a Priority
As a parent, it can be extremely stressful to watch your teen get behind the wheel. There aren't many things that can put your mind at ease; however, Chevy is doing their very best to help. "Safety is our number one priority at Chevrolet" according to the mother of a teen driver and Chevy employee. The new Buckle to Drive feature is reminding teens the importance of putting your seatbelt on every time you're in the car.
How it Works
Studies show that teens have the lowest rate of seat belt use when compared to other age groups. This technology is changing the foundation for teen safety and it has been a much-needed feature. When the vehicle is in Teen Driver mode you are required to put your seatbelt on before you are able to move the car out of park. If you attempt to...
