Silverado 2500 Update - Stykeman Chevrolet of Paulding
Seeing as the Silverado HD lineup was completely designed in 2020, the 2021 model year remains mostly unchanged. The Silverado 2500 makes a few tweaks, adding driver assistance features to lower trims along with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The latest model year of the Silverado 2500 offers up two engine options, five trim levels, and a long list of tech and safety features.
Performance
The Chevy Silverado 2500 offers up two engine options: a 6.6-liter V8 engine and a 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8. If you're interested in a gas engine, then the standard 6.6-liter V8 offers up 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The sole diesel engine option provides 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Both engines work with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

What's new to 2021
The 2021 model year of the Chevy Silverado 2500 offers up an all-new Safety Essentials package, which is a bundle of driver assistance features. The Safety Essentials package includes forward collision warning (with automatic emergency braking) and blind-spot monitoring. Also new to the 2021 model is the Carhartt Special Edition.
Interior Features
The Silverado 2500 features a wide variety of interior features that vary by trim level. The Chevy Silverado WT comes outfitted with single zone air conditioning, vinyl-trimmed seats, and a 4-way manual seat. The Custom trim features power windows, cloth seats, and deep tinted glass. The LTZ trim boasts leather-trimmed seats heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control, The Silverado 2500 High Country includes heated/ventilated front seats, a power tailgate, and a navigation system.
