The GMC lineup of trucks is adept at towing, allowing you to take your trailer or equipment around your farm or job site. To help make towing easier and more convenient, GMC offers the available ProGrade™ Trailering System, which is a suite of intuitive technologies that can assist you with hitching and towing.
In-vehicle Trailering App
With the available in-vehicle Trailering App, you can make up to five trailer profiles and specify the trailer hitch type, trailer type and trailer name. The app can provide you with maintenance reminders and keep you up to date on your trailer mileage. Before driving, you can review the pre-departure checklists and run a trailer lighting sequence test, which can help make sure you’re ready to hit the road. In addition, if you have Trailer Pressure Monitor Sensors, the app can monitor the tire pressure and temperature.
myGMC Mobile App
You can access many of the same in-vehicle Trailering App features on the available myGMC Mobile App. In addition to letting you manage your trailer profiles, review pre-departure checklists and activate your trailer lights, the myGMC Mobile App offers a Trailer Load Calculator to help you more accurately determine the combined weight of your trailer and truck. There’s also a Trailering Glossary that can inform you about materials related to trailers.
Trailer lighting sequence test
When activated, this test can run a lighting sequence so you can check that the lights essential to trailering are functioning properly. As the lighting sequence occurs, you can simply view the lights from around your vehicle.
Bed View Camera
The Bed View Camera is available so you keep a close eye on your cargo bed. Two Trailer Camera Provisions are included, helping make hitching a breeze.
