The Chevrolet Blazer is a brand new model for the 2019 model year! Seating up to five passengers, this ultra-sleek SUV packs in the latest features, offers powerful engine options, and delivers agile handling no matter where you roam! There are four trim levels available to choose from and we are breaking down each one, going over everything they have to offer to help you find the model that best meets the needs of your lifestyle! L: The entry-level L model comes outfitted with tons of standard features! They include xenon headlights, a rearview camera, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, four USB ports, satellite radio, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, OnStar Communications, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker sound system.
Blazer/LT: The Blazer trim level is broken down into three sub-trim levels. The 2.5L Cloth builds on the L trim with features like a spare tire, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and rear privacy glass. The 3.6L Cloth is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine and allows you to opt for the available all-wheel-drive configuration. The final sub-trim is the 3.6L Leather which comes outfitted with features like rear parking sensors, black roof rails, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a power liftgate, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, remote engine start, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and heated power-adjustable mirrors.
RS: Next up in the Blazer is the RS model. This trim level builds upon the 3.6L Leather sub trim with features like driver-seat memory functions, a heated steering wheel, a blacked-out front grille, an adjustable cargo management system, 20-inch wheels, dual exhaust tips, a 120-volt power outlet, and navigation.
Premier: The final trim level is the Premier model which comes with all the features from the RS model as well as an eight-speaker Bose sound system, heated rear seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and chrome exterior accents.
Many of the upper trim level features can be added to the lower trim levels as stand-alone features or within option packages. Some of these features include forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view parking camera.
The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that generates up to 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with standard front-wheel drive. The 3.6-liter V6 engine found powering the 3.6L Blazer sub trims as well as the RS and Premier models kicks out 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, you can opt for available all-wheel-drive.
