Under the hood of the 2020 Traverse you will find one standard engine. This engine is a 3.6-liter V6, which has the ability to pump out around 266 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. Front-wheel drive comes standard, although, on every trim except the base model, you can opt for all-wheel drive instead. On the High Country trim, Chevy adds a dual-clutch transfer system, which prevents slippage. If you end up opting to get the trailering package, the Traverse is able to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
