Process for Charging a Car Battery
The process of charging your car battery is not complex as long as you have the proper device. A car charger device will allow you to send amps to the battery without having to jump your car with another running engine.
Once you can clearly see the positive and negative terminals on the battery, pull out the clamps attached to the charger device. The red clamps should be attached to the positive end, which will also have a plus sign. The black clamps go with the negative terminal, but read your device manual to know whether they should be attached or not.
After attaching the clamps to the terminals, plug the charger into an outlet to turn it on. Keep it on until the display indicates that the battery is fully charged up. Avoid any unnecessary accidents by turning off the charger before you take off the clamps from the terminals.
