Items for a Roadside Emergency Kit
Be prepared for the next time that you’re stuck on the side of the road. Whether your engine has stalled, or you are stuck in bad weather, here are some items that Ed Shults Chevrolet recommends you have on hand in your vehicle at all times.
-Road flares will keep people aware of your location. You might be waiting for a tow truck in the dark, but there may also be piles of snow around you that is preventing people from seeing you.
-A bag of sand or kitty litter can be spread down beneath your tires if you’re stuck in a slick area. They provide ample traction on the road to get going again.
-A flashlight can help you assess damage, light the way as you fix your vehicle or flag someone down in the dark hours of the evening.
