Cleaning Your Tires is Important Maintenance for Your Car
Ed Shults Chevrolet knows that many drivers care about the appearance of a car's tires. The truth is that keeping your tires clean is also important to performance. Here are a few tips for cleaning your tires.
Grime and dirt can build up on your tires, making them look unattractive. It is also true that brake dust can accumulate on the wheel. Over time this can cause maintenance issues that may result in costly repairs. The first step to cleaning your tires is to dry-clean them with a wire brush. This will remove a lot of debris. You can then apply water and a tire cleaner before scrubbing once again with a brush. Once the whitewalls are clean you can rinse the tire with water.
