I am writing to express my heart felt gratitude for the kindness and special service that Schumacher Chevrolet provided me with back on Friday afternoon, September 22, 2017. You will never realize what a huge difference it made in my life and ministry to another person.
Long story short: I had driven 11 hours from my home in Ann Arbor, MI to celebrate my former church secretary's 101st birthday now living as a resident in the Gates Manor, Montclair. I stayed with a friend in Montville, was driving down Memory Lane through Little Falls, and on my way to celebrate this milestone birthday in Montclair.
Just as I was passing the familiar Land Mark of Schumacher Chevrolet the tire light on my 2012 Chevy Cruze went on, indicating loss of air pressure. I brought the car in to you for servicing and thanks to Steve and staff, the tire puncture was immediately plugged so that I could continue to Montclair for this special occasion. I arrived just in time for a special party and dinner.
The timing, place, and especially the people couldn't have been any better, so now I refer to this as "The Miracle on Main Street!" I would not have made it to the party without your help. The real miracle on Main Street LF is that just as hate and violence can break out in a city like Las Vegas, so can acts of kindness break out into this dark and dangerous world as well.
Thank you again for your help and kindness!
Rev. Charles Bigelow
Pastor Emeritus - Montville Reformed Church
Greetings from Montville! It was good to read about you and your story in the February 16th issue of Passaic Valley Today. Stories make our lives, don't they!
Congratulations on making it through some very difficult storms and responding with so many accomplishments and accolades. It was surprising to read of your age and then see your picture in the advertisement. You look so young! What's your secret?
The article surfaced many memories of Harold and Ken. I remember visiting your dad at St. Josephs Hospital in his final days, and as I recall, you were there too; And then how the news of Ken's diagnosis followed so quickly after Harold's funeral. Tough times. I am sure that both Harold and Ken are very proud of you and how you have worked so hard to carry on the Schumacher name and business!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!
Peace and Prayers, Rev. Charles Bigelow Dear WRN Dealers:
Dear WRN Dealers:
I'm pleased to let you know that the Women's Retail Network has developed a collection of conversations exploring the many career opportunities available to women in automotive retail. As outlined in the latest WRN Link, this series of video modules highlights various occupations within dealerships- from sales, service, and parts. These videos are intended to build awareness and interest for women seeking automotive retail positions, and to fill our employment pipeline with qualified female candidates. Never before has the Network produced a series quite like this. Using first-person profiles the videos demonstrate the new role for women as valued members in the retail chain. The enclosed DVD includes an easy click-and-scroll menu with the individual video title:
The demands on your time are great, so the videos are short and easy for online viewing. The videos will reside on the WRN microsite (www.gmwomensretailnetwork.com) in a new tab entitled “Women in Automotive Retailâ€Â. You can also find them on the WRN YouTube channel by clicking on the YouTube icon on the WRN microsite. You may even want to set up a link to these videos on your own website. I encourage you to use these videos in a variety of ways- be creative. Use them as recruiting tools, in community and school presentations, as special women's day events, and other speaking engagements. You might even consider playing them regularly in your dealership. As always, thank you for your participation in bringing new women into our fold. Please contact me with questions or additional thoughts.
Best Regards, Celeste D. Briggs Director- Womens Retail Network
Congratulations on being named a 2011 Top Dealership for Outstanding Customer Experience and earning the Women's Choice Award Seal. The seal that 9 out of 10 women value when making a purchase...
When a company bears the Women's Choice Award seal, it is the ultimate competitive differentiator and a recognition that can only come with exceptional service and a solid reputation. We encourage you to leverage the Women's Choice Award in all your marketing and experience firsthand the power of being recognized as a business of choice among women! The press garnered by the Women's Choice Award recipients in this campaign was nothing short of extraordinary.
We wanted to provide you with a copy from USA Today to share with your team. N addition, the announcement will be printed and handed out to the thousands of dealerships in attendance at the Digital Dealer Conference on April 3-5, 2012, in Orlando, Fl. Each awarded dealer principal will also be recognized at the general session followed with a celebratory lunch honoring the Top Dealerships. We hope you'll attend the Digital Dealer Conference, where Delia Passio, CEO, WomenCertified and Judith Hathcock, CEO, Elead One, will be presenting the trophies on Wednesday April 4th, during the morning session, to the honored recipients followed with an honorary lunch.
Regards, Delia Passi, CEO WomenCertified Inc.
We apologize for the tardiness of this letter, it is a long time coming, but on behalf of the North Jersey Corvette Club, we wanted to take time to thank you so very much for all that you do to support our club. You are there to lend your support for our sponsored activities like our car show by purchasing the trophies; you offer to pay for the entertainment at our Holiday Party. Things like this are usually unnoticed, but we wanted to let you know that they are greatly appreciated by not only us, the officers; but by the entire club.
Our club is there to support not only your dealership but your charity Camp Hope as well and we look for input from you as to what we can do to further our involvement with the Tilton Automotive Group. We know that you are extremely busy maintaining two dealerships, but we just wanted to say Thank YouÂ.
Best regards, John Brinkman, Ralph Barbary, Jason Perlman, Andy Soltis Linda Siegfried
Dear Ms. Schumacher-Tilton:
I just read in the current issue of Time Magazine that you were a regional finalist for Automobile Dealer of the Year. Congratulations! What an honor for you- and for the town of Little Falls!
I enjoyed a wonderful teaching career (41 years) in neighboring Clifton. I had a couple of Schumachers at CHS years ago; I believe Ed and perhaps Gary (not so sure on that). I lived in Little Falls for a couple of years, and my eldest son John has lived there for several years with his family. Your accomplishment, Ms. Schumacher-Tilton, is a positive reflection on you, your dealership, and your community involvement.
