With the recent 2016 redesign of the Silverado, there are just a few new updates to the truck for the 2017 model year. First, it's gaining two new exterior colors, graphite metallic and pepperdust metallic, though last year's slate gray, tungsten, and autumn bronze metallics are no longer available.

New features include the optional High Country package, which has been revised for 2017 to include enhanced driver alert features, automatic headlights, a heated, leather-accented steering wheel, and power-adjustable pedals. In addition, all trim levels now include Teen Driver mode and Android Auto functionality.

All ten trims of the 2017 Silverado are now equipped with the capless fuel fill system, with the exception of those ordered without a pickup box. The 1LT trim is now available with offroad tires.
