Sarant Cadillac is proud to serve Massapequa, New York, a quaint hamlet on the coast of Long Island with a rich heritage dating back to the pre-colonial era. 

There have been many Native American influences competing for dominance in Massapequa: an Algonquian language family of tribes along the coast, tribes to the east who spoke a different Algonquian language and were related to the Pequot people of Connecticut and southern New England, and major bands of Pequot in eastern Long Island, including the Montaukett and Shinnecock. Today, the latter have a reservation on the island's south shore.

Despite its relatively small size, Massapequa is the native home of some of the nation's most notable people, including actor Alec Baldwin, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, screenwriter Michael Dougherty, and former MMA champion Matt Serra. 

Also because of its size, some of the recreation in Massapequa becomes even more enjoyable. For example, Tobay Beach--one of the best beaches on the island, with both ocean front and bay access--never feels overpopulated, making it perfect for relaxing on a hot summer day or going on a peaceful, romantic walk. 

The Massapequa Preserve is an idyllic place as well, with numerous well-maintained paths taking you through rustling trees, over fishing bridges, and by quaint lakes with swans and ducks. There's no better place to breathe in nature's fresh air.

Back downtown is the Sunrise Mall, where tourists and residents alike may shop to their heart's content in local boutiques and franchise stores. And then, of course, there's Sarant Cadillac, where everyone knows you go for the latest and greatest in high-end automobiles.
