Bring My Ride
Bring My Ride is a Bay Area pilot program aimed to put buyers back in the driver's seat of their car buying experience all without going to the dealership
Program Info:
When a team of Stanford graduate students and experienced General Motors executives came together in 2016 to improve the car buying experience, they knew they had work to do. Customers told the team that they felt a loss of control when they entered a car dealership. Outside the dealer doors, they knew what they wanted and were confident in getting it. But when customers walked inside a dealership, it was like entering a foreign country, and they were far out of their comfort zone.
Bring My Ride aims to change all of that, providing a car “shopping” experience to users where they want, when they want, and giving them back a sense of control. With Bring My Ride, customers will examine and test drive the vehicle of their choice from the comfort of their own home, place of work, or other convenient location.
