Here is a photo taken this morning at Parsons delivering a check to Salvation Army from November oil changes. In the photo are Aaron Cernoch, Nick Dehart, Sherri Parsons (all three representing Parsons) and Cavan Kelly (representing Salvation Army).
Giving $1.00 of every oil change to Salvation Army has continued a tradition that’s spanned over 20 years of giving back to the community. Sherri Parsons summarized that the service staff takes pride that nearly $140,000 has been reinvested in Langlade County through the dollar per oil change campaign since the program started.
Kelly noted that Parsons not only contributes dollars, but many employees also contribute time to ringing the bell at the red kettles. They are aware that for every hour of bell ringing, about $50 is raised for local Salvation Army needs. Sherri Parsons is one of the bell ringers who will be ringing. He added that more bell ringers are needed between now and Christmas at nearly every store location in ANTIGO. To volunteer, go to salanglade.org or call Kelly at 715-623-7838. Only with more bell ringers will Langlade County continue to meet emergency needs for local families.
With our customers help, we've been able to donate over $136,000 to the community!
