The vehicle sale went well, one of the main reasons we purchased from John elway Chevy was because of the 60 day warranty on used vehicles. However, when I scheduled a service appointment to have some issues checked out I was told one day for diagnostics. When I showed up to drop the vehicle off Ryan (service advisor) told me it would be 2-3 days. I had already taken time off of work to go there so I told him he can have it until 3pm the next day since we were going on a trip. By 12pm the next day they still hadnāt touch the vehicle (I have remote cameras on the vehicle) when I called and asked Ryan what had been done he checked with his technician and told me they would call back. Never received a call back. I showed up at the dealer to pick my truck up at 3pm like we talked about. Ryan told me they had looked at my vehicle but couldnāt reproduce the issue. I checked the cameras again, and it still hadnāt moved. I didnāt appreciate the deceit. We set another appointment this time with the promise of a ā1-dayā diagnosis. I showed for that appointment and it was never put into their schedule. Once again I was told 2-3 days for diagnosis: by the end of the day I never received a call or update and vehicle still hadnāt been looked at. I called Ryan and he gave me the same lie about the vehicle being looked at. Which it hadnāt been. I called the service manager Dan the next morning and he looked at it personally. Although he handed it off to another service advisor who didnāt know anything about his findings instead of calling me personally and giving me his findings. I left another message for Dan but never received another call. Overall the deceit and lack of communication is unacceptable. Iām assuming they really donāt want to have to do their own warranty work for free so they let the clock in run on the 60 days. If someone follows up on this I believe the relationship could be salvageable but I donāt have high hopes given how the interactions have gone so far.
