Facets
“As a local charity we are deeply grateful to our corporate partners and faith community partners and never more so than when one of our vans broke down during a Hypothermia Prevention run. The brakes had failed and luckily no one was injured, it just meant that we would need to have the van fixed and have a van to use in the mean time. Centerpointe Church stepped up to loan us a van and Kathy McKay and her incredible team at Jim McKay Chevrolet were able to drop everything to tow the van to their garage and get working on it. Our blue van is an old one and had been very generously donated by Jim McKay Chevrolet. We were a bit worried about the repairs and how expensive they might be.
We got the call this morning that the van was ready, the side damage was fixed, the maintenance was done and the brakes were repaired...all as a GIFT from Kathy McKay and Jim McKay Chevrolet!!! There were happy tears when we arrived to see our van looking shiny and ready to help us save lives during this bitterly cold winter. So a HUGE FACETS thank you to Jim McKay Chevrolet and to Centerpointe Church, we are deeply grateful for your incredible support. In the photos you'll see how damaged the van was, how shiny it looks now and Kathy McKay (on the right) and FACETS Development Director Brenda Dushko beaming over her generosity!” –Facets, January 3, 2018
