    Auto Body Technician

    Jerry's Collision Center has immediate openings for auto body techs/ collision specialists to join our high volume body shop. Jerry's is a Toyota certified body shop that continually has business feeding from insurance companies and customers through our three sales and service centers that include Chevrolet, Toyota and Mitsubishi.  
    Key Responsibilities: Complete dis-assembly of vehicle in order to assist Service Advisor with preparing a 100% Repair Plan; Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time; Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards; Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair. 
    Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; Must have a valid driver's license; Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check; Must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently; Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; Regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals - requires use of a respirator; Moderate noise levels in this working environment; Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

      Automotive Service Advisor

      Jerry's Chevrolet in Baltimore has immediate openings for Automotive Service Advisors to join our busy Service Center!  We are looking for a career minded; customer service focused individual who wants to make money!
      Key Responsibilities: Address customer needs and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules. Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions. Prepare accurate estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles. 
      Review all Multi-point inspections with customers. Prepare repair orders (RO) by listening to the customer's concerns and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into the service database system. Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected the return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation. Keep customers informed of the status of the vehicle throughout the service process. Maintain Green CSI monthly by factory standards. Complete and maintain all Factory training for Certification.
      Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; Must have a valid driver's license; Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check; ADP experience a plus but not required. Experienced service advisor or customer service background preferred; Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; Regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals - requires use of a respirator; Moderate noise levels in this working environment; Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

        ASE Certified Technician 

        Jerry’s Chevrolet has an immediate opening for an experienced, self-motivated and professional Automotive Dealer/Processing clerk to join our growing team! This position maintains compliance with vehicle sales and revenue recognition. 
        Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing appropriate repairs; Performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards; Road-testing vehicles to ensure quality of repair; Communicate with service advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period; Inspect and test-drive new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly.; Install accessories on new vehicles as specified by the customer or dealer; Work alongside other skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs; Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology; Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. 
        Key Requirements: Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively with management team. Other duties as assigned. 18 Years of Age or older. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of 2 years previous experience. Strong attention to detail. Effective Communicator. Team-oriented. Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
