      Our mission at Jerry’s Auto Group is to practice an unwavering commitment to our customers, our community, each other, and our products.

      Jerry’s Auto Group began in 1957 with the opening of Jerry’s Chevrolet in the Govans neighborhood of Baltimore. Our founder chose to retail Chevrolets because he was determined to sell an American product, and he admired the brand’s consistency in building a full-line up of dependable cars and trucks. If you listened to the radio at the time, you were sure to hear Jerry’s very first slogan: “5600 York at Bellona, best place to become a Chevrolet ownah!”

      Two decades later, Jerry’s business was quickly outgrowing the modest dimensions of his Baltimore showroom. In 1971, Jerry’s Chevrolet relocated to where it still stands today, at the corners of Joppa Road and Perring Parkway in Baltimore County.

              Since he first entered the automotive industry, Jerry’s primary goal was to leave a positive footprint in the community, and prioritize customer satisfaction above all else. To this day, Jerry’s Auto Group takes pride in helping in our community by participating in a variety of charitable and local events throughout the year.

              Jerry's sponsors a variety of after school programs and recreational sports teams for Parkville High School, Parkville Rec League, Parkville Little League, Perry Hall Elementary School, Perry Hall High School, Stembridge Baseball and Hillcrest Swimming Club. These sponsorships have enable the teams to purchase new equipment and for the parents or guardians to pay lower registration fees.

              Jerry’s Auto Group has partnered with The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Greater Maryland for the past 7 years, raising funds to help send children afflicted with the illness to an annual summer camp. Each year, we host a golf tournament to benefit the MDA, with our most recent outing taking place at Eagle’s Nest Country Club in Baltimore County. We were able to raise a total of $100,000, bringing our total donations over the past 7 tournaments to $350,000! Every fall, the Jerry’s Chevrolet new car lot becomes the staging area for Jerry’s Annual Fall Car Show, one of the largest single day, judged auto shows in the mid-Atlantic. November 2019 marked the 15th consecutive year of the show. All registration proceeds also went to the MDA of Greater Maryland.

              Aside from sponsoring a variety of local causes, Jerry’s Auto Group has established a presence at many Baltimore-area events. You can find our tent at Brew at the Zoo and OctoBEARfest at the Maryland Zoo, The Perry Hall Town Fair, Fullerton 4th of July Fireworks, Tots @ 10 at the Avenue @ White Marsh, and the Towson 4th of July Parade! We are always eager to engage with our local community!
